“It is good to have an end to journey of the past; but it is the journey that matters in the present”

A source of enjoyment, amusement, diversion, activities on the ship, or activities off the ship.
A pleasure, gaiety, merriment, or just being lazy.

SkyRide® is a bit like riding a bike — you’ll never forget it. But SkyRide is also completely unlike riding a bike, because when was the last time you biked around a ship, high above the deck and even higher above the sparkling blue sea? Zip safely around our two-lane suspended course in a pedal-powered go-mobile, in search of your biggest racing victory, a lower-body workout… or simply the greatest view.

The chance to complete an awesome challenge, high above it all… now that's what you want in a good ropes course. An awesome ropes course, however, will let you do all that with a cool sea breeze and a view to match! Not sure that navigating a high-up-there challenge is for you? Did we mention that on SkyCourse™ you'll be safely strapped in, emboldening you to take on the kinds of challenges you may not normally feel up to? Here everyone — even kids — become thrill-seekers, testing their ability to make their way around the course. The course features two levels of challenge, and you can increase or decrease the toughness as you go. So take to the sky... SkyCourse that is.

Meet old friends, make new friends, and create new memories, or romantic moments.

A spot that's intriguing by night and friendly anytime, step into the Havana Bar™ and be transported to antebellum Cuba preserved today in old postcards, vintage literature… and classic delicacies. Take in great ocean views as you try something authentically Cuban, like café Cubano (that’s Cuban coffee!) or handcrafted Cuban cocktails (think daiquiris, mojitos and more). And this spot definitely doesn’t cool down when the sun goes down, with music and dancing keeping things hot well into the night.

Ready to see stars? Park yourself in front of the big screen — the really big screen — and settle in for some real stars at Carnival Seaside Theater™. From the comfort of your poolside lounge chair, or even the pool itself, you'll enjoy sporting events and recent blockbuster movies… think Comedy, Action & Adventure and Date Night. But don't think that being in the middle of the sea means going without the usual comforts. There's not only popcorn — who could forget that? — but blankets! So lounge around, snuggle up and try to remember the last time you truly enjoyed a night at the movies.

Carnival Horizon is a Vista-class cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line. She is the 26th vessel in the Carnival fleet and is the second of Carnival's Vista class, which includes Carnival Vista and Carnival Panorama. Horizon is a bold, beautiful ship jam-packed with activities, dining options, and bars and lounges galore. The cruise ship is sophisticated and modern, though with Carnival's take on those concepts, which includes bold colors, bright spaces and a heavy dose of fun. Carnival Horizon also debuted some new technology, including a smart elevator concept, designed to help with crowd control and to move people along faster -- which it does with mostly success. It's also got an upgraded version of Carnival's Hub App, which on Horizon allows passengers to do things like make restaurant reservations using their devices. (You can see the menus for each of the restaurants using the app, too, which helps with decision making.)

Aruba

Splash and play your way across this sparkling corner of the Caribbean, or simply relax on a sun-baked beach on one of Carnival’s cruises to Aruba. The locals call it the “happy island,” and they prove it — Aruba cheerily welcomes visitors to picture-perfect strips of beach, swaths of exotic blooms, and some of the Caribbean’s top shopping and nightlife locales. Celebrate the year-round Caribbean spirit, or simply unwind to the island’s bewitching and relaxing tempo. It’s easy to find your own tropical beat when you cruise Aruba-style.

Bonaire

This is an island nation in the Southern Caribbean that was twice “discovered” — once by the Spanish and once by the Dutch — and was until recently part of the Netherlands Antilles. Its far-flung history may be all over the map… but you’ll find the island itself located just right. Also just right is the climate — the annual average is 81.5° F — so you’ll have plenty of reasons to spend time outdoors. When in the water, diving and snorkeling happen to be some of the best ways to see the reef surrounding the island… but they’re also great for cooling off.

LaRomana

Dominican Republic: Originally oil town but now major producer of sugarcane. Beautiful sun, beaches, hop onto speed boat and zip around the shoreline. Swim with dolphins, see sea lion. In Altos de Chavon, its Mediterranean-style European village, that watches over Chavon River. Culture, architecture and more are ax-extraordinary. An obelisk painted with colorful images of local life stands in the city center. South of the city is Catalina Island, with beaches, coral reefs and the wrecked ship of pirate William Kidd.

Amber Cove

Dominican Republican: The Caribbean’s newest destination, Amber Cove Cruise Center, is located in the Dominican Republic on the Bay of Maimon near Puerto Plata in the country’s North Coast. In 1540, The first fort in the New World was built, Fuerte de San Felipe, and the port became a stop for traders between Europe and this area. To date, San Felipe Fort is one of the oldest military colonial period fortresses in the region. Puerto Plata is better known for its Atlantic coastline with more than 60 miles (100km) of beaches, coastal villages and hotels. The beach towns of Sosua and Cabarete, world famous for its windsurfing and kiteboarding, are less than half an hour away. The popular Ocean World Adventure Park is on the outskirts of the city, about 20 minutes north of Amber Cove. Damajagua Falls is just a 30 minute ride south.

What reassurance can you give me about Covid-19, sailing safely and protection of my payments just in case of any issues?

The cruise lines are putting new health and hygiene protocols into place in anticipation of cruising again soon, with enhanced screenings and sanitization. For example, rapid Covid-19 tests may be employed to ensure everyone is healthy. When final payments are due. We recommend adding the suggested cruise cancellation insurance, which also protects your investment AFTER you are paid up, in the event of illness, accident or last minute family emergency. The insurance is approx. 8% of cruise cost and also covers pre-existing medical conditions when added at time of booking. It's best for peace of mind.

Is vaccination required?
